"Iris Eyes" is delicate and feminine. Her three petal blooms languidly curl up and over her top exposing a soft white and pale green satiny finish. Since she is so open, we can easily see the petals inside are a heavenly lilac that looks as if water-colored. Her stamen is a pearly violet nub with a citrine glass cabachon embedded at the very top.
Iris Eyes' green stems are placed in copper stem-holders which emerge from a shallow pool of light colored river rock submerged in watery resin. I also handmade her shallow basin. The top of the basin shimmers with copper metal leaf overlayed with a feminine texture and purple glazes, finished with a glass-like resin. She would make an elegant centerpiece or foyer table showcase.
